AMUR KALUGA CAVIAR

Amur Kaluga Caviar is an elegant selection prized for the size of its eggs, firm texture and balanced aromatic profile. This type of caviar comes from a cross between female Huso dauricus and male Acipenser schrenckii, two sturgeon species native to the Amur River basin, along the border between China and Russia.

The eggs are large, glossy and well defined, reaching approximately 3.3 mm in diameter. Their colour generally ranges from brown to ochre, with possible lighter nuances. Their firm structure allows each pearl to retain its shape, creating a pleasant texture on the palate and a gradual release of its delicate aromas.

Its flavour profile is refined, balanced and lingering, with delicate marine notes and a smooth, buttery character that develops gently without becoming overpowering. Its structure and natural sheen make it particularly suitable both for pure tasting and for sophisticated culinary applications.

Excellent with mini blinis, potatoes, eggs and neutral crostini, it can also be incorporated into refined dishes where the generous size and firm texture of the eggs become an integral part of the presentation and tasting experience.
