The first two creations are Ecuador 72% Nacional and Ivory Coast 66% Forastero, two extra dark chocolate bars that tell the story of cacao through two distinct origins and varieties.
Ecuador 72% Nacional pays tribute to a land with a millennia-old cacao heritage. In the Amazonian region of Palanda, archaeological evidence attests to cacao use more than 5,000 years ago by the Mayo-Chinchipe culture. This ancient history intertwines with the heritage of the Nacional variety, a symbol of Ecuador’s cacao tradition.
Ivory Coast 66% Forastero takes us to West Africa, one of the world’s most important cacao-producing regions. A variety deeply connected to the history and spread of cacao cultivation, it reflects an agricultural culture rooted in the land and passed down through generations.
